Honeywell LG1093AA24 UV Flame Probe – Combustion Management System
LG1093AA24 is a Honeywell LG1093 series ultraviolet UV flame probe designed specifically for gas turbines and industrial burners. It is used in conjunction with flame amplifiers/combustion management systems (BMS) to determine flame status by collecting ultraviolet radiation signals from flames. It is widely used in GE gas turbines, power station boilers, and petrochemical heating furnaces. LG1093AA24 is a front-end sensing component for combustion safety protection, with a PTFE shielded cable and a stainless steel probe housing that can be directly installed at the observation port of high-temperature and high-pressure combustion chambers. It is a key component of the unit’s flameout protection circuit.

Product function
- Flame UV signal acquisition: Sensing the ultraviolet radiation emitted by the burning flame, converting the light signal into a weak electrical signal, and transmitting it to the rear flame amplification module.
- Flame detection: Real time monitoring of the ignition, normal combustion, and extinguishing status of the burner. The probe itself does not make logical judgments, and the signal is sent to the BMS system for processing.
- Source of ignition safety protection trigger: Once the flame is extinguished and there is no ultraviolet signal output from the probe, the BMS will receive the signal loss and trigger fuel cut-off and unit interlock shutdown to prevent the risk of gas leakage and explosion.
- Suitable for various fuel conditions of gas turbines and boilers, supporting flame detection of various fuels such as natural gas and fuel oil.
- On site collection under harsh working conditions: directly facing the high-temperature and high-pressure environment of the furnace, complete on-site optical signal pickup, and transmit the signal to the processing unit inside the control cabinet through long-distance shielded cables.
