560CMR01 is the core communication unit (CMU) of ABB RTU560 series, equipped with a 32-bit CPU, and is the main control communication module of RTU560 remote terminal device. Undertaking the data processing, protocol parsing, and external communication interaction of the entire machine, 560CMR01 is mainly used for RTU measurement and control systems in power substations and industrial sites, realizing on-site data collection, uploading, and receiving and processing instructions in the background. It is the central component of the RTU560 complete set of equipment.

Product function

1. As the core processing unit of RTU560, it collects data from local I/O modules, completes data calculation and storage, and forwards it to the upper SCADA and DCS systems.
2. Provide multiple Ethernet and serial communication interfaces to achieve and schedule multi protocol data exchange between the main station and third-party devices.
3. Process control instructions issued by the backend and send them to the local I/O module to complete remote signaling, telemetry, and remote control functions.
4. Equipped with battery backup for real-time clock, ensuring system time synchronization, saving configuration parameters and event records; Support USB interface for local debugging, parameter download and upload.
5. Maintain the internal database of the system, manage device configuration, event, and alarm information, and ensure the stable operation of the entire RTU.
