1747-SDN is a DeviceNet communication scanner module produced by Rockwell Automation (Allen Bradley), used to communicate with DeviceNet supported devices through a DeviceNet network or adapter module. The 1747-SDN module is suitable for SLC 500 series PLC systems and is compatible with SLC 5/02, 5/03, 5/04, and 5/05 processors.

Communication mode: Supports message sending and receiving in slave mode, including polling, gating, status change, and cyclic I/O configuration.
Direct configuration: As a bridge connecting independent DeviceNet networks, it replaces devices such as 1770-KFD and 1784-PCD.
Node support: 1747-SDN can configure up to 63 nodes with a baud rate of 125 Kbps.
Indicator lights: The front panel is equipped with two LED status indicator lights (module indicator light and network status LED) and an LCD display screen for displaying module addresses and error messages.
Physical interface: Provides a 10 pin linear plug for connecting to DeviceNet ports.
Installation position: It can be installed in any slot of the I/O framework, but cannot be installed in the leftmost slot (which is dedicated to SLC 500 processors).
Compatibility: 1747-SDN is compatible with SLC 5/02 or later processors and does not support remote I/O frameworks used with 1747-ASB adapter modules.
