ABB CI869K01 3BSE049110R1 fieldbus communication interface module
CI869K01 3BSE049110R1 is the Advant Fieldbus100 fieldbus communication interface module of ABB AC 800M/System 800xA DCS system, which is mounted on the AC800M controller through the CEX-Bus bus. CI869K01 is used for interconnection and intercommunication between ABB DCS systems and is a transitional spare module for existing systems.
Main function:
- Connect the AC800M controller to the AF100 twisted pair fieldbus and complete data exchange with the old Advant Master (AC450, AC160) controllers;
- As an AF100 bus slave station, it enables bidirectional transmission of interlocking, process variables, and alarm data between different controllers;
- Support dual module redundancy and bus cable redundancy configuration to ensure uninterrupted switching in case of communication link failures;
- Connect the 800xA new system with the legacy Advant old system, enabling gradual upgrading of old devices without the need to replace all old hardware at once;
- Panel LED status indicator light, providing feedback on communication and fault status, facilitating on-site troubleshooting of network issues;
- Used for replacement and maintenance of spare parts for damaged 800xA system modules in stock.
