Allen Bradley 1794-IRT8XT distributed temperature acquisition input module
1794-IRT8XT is a Rockwell Allen Bradley FLEX I/O-XT series distributed temperature acquisition input module, belonging to the wide temperature reinforcement version, with a three proof coating on the module. The 1794-IRT8XT is used to connect thermocouples, 2/3/4 wire RTD thermistors, and millivolt signals, collect on-site temperature data, and upload it to the Logix series PLC controller through the FLEX backplane adapter to achieve multi-point temperature monitoring and closed-loop control of process temperature in industrial sites. It supports fault diagnosis of wire breakage and overtravel. 1794-IRT8XT is suitable for distributed I/O temperature measurement in harsh environments.

- XT wide temperature reinforced version, circuit board with three anti coating, resistant to moisture, dust, corrosive gases, and better environmental resistance than ordinary 1794-IRT8.
- 8-channel multiplexing, freely configurable to connect thermocouples, RTDs, millivolt sensors, supporting grounded/ungrounded thermocouples.
- Built in diagnosis for wire breakage, over range, and under range, with channel fault information uploaded to the PLC for easy warning and maintenance.
- Excellent common mode rejection performance, supporting long-distance temperature measurement cables, suitable for industrial sites with strong electromagnetic interference.
- Cold end compensation can be paired with 1794-CJC2 compensator to ensure the accuracy of thermocouple temperature measurement.
- Distributed remote I/O architecture, which can be placed in on-site control cabinets near temperature measurement points to reduce long-distance temperature measurement wiring.
