IS210AEDBH4AGD is the Bridge Interface Card for the GE Speedtronic Mark VI/EX2100 excitation control system, serving as the signal interface unit between the excitation regulator and the thyristor rectifier power bridge. IS210AEDBH4AGD receives the SCR trigger pulse signal from the Mark VI excitation controller, and uses four Bicron packaged pulse transformers on board for electrical isolation and level conversion. The output is then sent to the gate of the power cabinet thyristor, which precisely controls the trigger angle of the excitation rectifier bridge and adjusts the excitation current and terminal voltage of the generator. The onboard pulse transformer achieves 5kVAC high-voltage isolation between the control circuit and the power circuit, blocking power side surges and common mode interference, and protecting the safe operation of the excitation controller.

Product Features

1. 4-channel Bicron packaged pulse transformer channels isolate and amplify the excitation controller SCR trigger signal to drive the controllable silicon gate of the power cabinet, achieving 5kVAC electrical isolation between the control weak current circuit and the power strong current circuit.
2. The insulation level of the pulse transformer BIL is as high as 12kV, and it can withstand overvoltage and surge impact during power side operation, protecting the excitation controller from damage caused by high voltage series.
3.  Support the transmission of wideband pulse signals ranging from 10kHz to 500kHz, and adapt to different triggering frequency requirements of rectifier bridges.
4. Onboard 175+integrated circuits, integrated trigger pulse shaping, amplification, and detection circuits, stable and reliable pulse output.
5. The GD suffix version adopts a normal coating anti-corrosion coating, which is moisture-proof, salt spray resistant, and corrosion-resistant gas resistant, suitable for the humid environment inside the power plant excitation cabinet.
