LG1093AB01 is a Honeywell LG1093 series UV flame sensor designed specifically for use with gas turbines. It requires an EG1033 series flame amplifier to form a complete flame monitoring circuit. LG1093AB01 relies on Geiger Miller ultraviolet phototubes to collect ultraviolet signals released from the combustion of hydrocarbon fuels, and to determine the presence or absence of furnace flames in real time; Once a flameout occurs, the rapid output signal triggers the fuel cut-off interlock protection to prevent major safety accidents such as gas accumulation and explosion, which is the core sensing component of the gas turbine combustion protection system.
