MVME5100 is a high-performance VME bus single board computer launched by Motorola (later under Emerson/Artesyn), positioned for OEM customers in key industries such as industry, defense, aerospace, and healthcare who require “supercomputing” capabilities within a single VME slot. This series is based on the PowerPlus II architecture and uses PowerPC processors, which have powerful computing and data processing capabilities while maintaining compatibility and reliability with the VME bus.
