KFD2-UT2-Ex1 dual channel signal isolator, suitable for electrical isolation barriers between hazardous areas (where explosive gases or dust may exist) and safety control areas.
core functionality:
Intrinsic safety (IS) barrier: capable of limiting voltage/current and preventing ignition of explosive gases in the event of faults such as short circuits or open circuits.
Dual channel design: Two independent 4-20mA signal channels are integrated into a single module, and KFD2-UT2-Ex1 can simultaneously process two 2-wire passive transmitters (such as temperature, pressure, and flow).
Up to 2.5 kV isolation: provides strong isolation between input, output, and power supply, suppresses interference, and protects equipment.
Power supply and signal: Provide loop power for 2-wire transmitters and convert on-site signals into 4-20 mA current output in the safe zone.
Installation method: DIN rail standard installation, using pluggable terminal blocks for quick maintenance and replacement, reducing downtime.
Typical applications: Monitoring of oil and gas storage tanks and pipelines; Temperature and liquid level control of chemical and petrochemical reaction vessels; Monitoring of pharmaceutical bioreactor parameters; Water treatment pump pressure pH、 Monitoring of turbidity and other parameters.
