PDP601 is the distributed processing unit DPU of Valmet DNA DCS system, which belongs to the core main control processor module of the entire control system. PDP601 is responsible for collecting on-site process data uploaded by IOP series I/O cards inside the rack, executing control strategies such as PID regulation, interlocking logic, and sequential control programs, and issuing control instructions to output cards; At the same time, data exchange is achieved through high-speed networks and other DPUs and upper computers to achieve collaborative control of the entire factory process. Mainly used for replacing old DNA system spare parts in industries such as papermaking and pulp making,

1. Adopting PowerPC 32-bit RISC high-performance processor, it has fast computing speed and supports fast PID closed-loop regulation and complex interlocking logic operation.
2. Supports 1:1 hot redundancy configuration. In the event of a main DPU failure, the backup unit can automatically switch without disturbance, ensuring continuous operation of the production process.
3. A dual port DNA high-speed control network enables data exchange between multiple DPUs and between DPUs and the upper monitoring system, with redundant network links.
4. Comes with RS485 serial port, supports Modbus RTU protocol, and can be connected to third-party instruments and auxiliary control devices.
5. Built in complete self diagnostic function, real-time monitoring of CPU, memory, communication, and power status, and uploading fault information to the system alarm.
6. Rack slot installation, compatible with Valmet DNA system standard cabinet backboards, supports online plug-in maintenance.
7. Industrial coating reinforced circuit board, resistant to dust and vibration, suitable for harsh working conditions such as wet and dusty pulp and paper making.
8. Modular architecture, can be freely matched with IOP series analog and digital I/O cards, and flexibly expand the scale of measurement points.
