Shinkawa VM-721B/TB1 18 channel programmable relay output module
VM-721B/TB1 is an 18 channel programmable relay output module for the Shinkawa VM-7 series TSI system in Japan./TB1 represents the supporting front plug-in terminal version and can only be installed in the designated slot of the VM-761B rack. The alarm status of all monitoring modules in the rack is read through the rack backplane bus.
Function: VM-721B/TB1 collects warning, danger, and fault signals from various monitoring modules such as vibration, displacement, speed, and temperature within this rack; Internally perform programmable logic operations (AND, OR, non logical combinations) and output 18 independent relay dry contacts; Output unit comprehensive alarm and trip interlock contacts to DCS and interlocking system; VM-721B/TB1 is used to expand the number of system alarm output contacts, achieve logical combination of multiple measurement point alarms, complete the output of hard contacts for rotating machinery protection interlocking, and compensate for the problem of insufficient relay channels in a single monitoring module.

- There are a total of 18 relay dry contact outputs that support software configuration logic operations. The Alert warning, Danger danger, and module fault signals from any measuring point in the rack can be combined and/or non logically to generate comprehensive alarm and trip signals, greatly expanding the TSI system’s hard contact output capability.
- TB1 configuration front plug-in Phoenix terminal block, wiring maintenance does not require dismantling the cables on the back of the rack, making it easy to repair and replace modules
- Supports hot swapping, and modules can be replaced without powering on the rack, without affecting the normal protection function of other vibration monitoring modules inside the rack.
- It can only be fixedly installed in slot 11 of VM-761B rack, and the alarm status of the entire rack can be obtained through the backplane bus. It cannot operate independently.
- Cooperate with MCL View software to complete logical configuration, and each relay can be freely bound to different measurement point alarm conditions to meet the complex interlocking logic requirements of the unit.
- The panel LED indicator light intuitively displays the relay output status and backplane bus communication faults.
