ICS Triplex T8122C is a Rockwell ICS Triplex Trusted TMR processor interface module, used in conjunction with T8110B/T8111 series main processors, installed at the rear of the controller chassis.
T8122C serves as an interface adapter unit for external expansion of TMR main processor, leading out multiple serial communication interfaces and connecting Trusted security controllers with external DCS, PLC, and third-party monitoring devices; T8122C is responsible for transmitting interlocking status, alarm information, SOE event sequence recording, and outputting fault/failure hard contact signals of the main and backup processors. T8122C does not undertake security logic operations and specializes in expanding the native serial port resources of the processor to achieve reliable data exchange between the security system and external control systems, ensuring data upload and status monitoring of ESD and F&G safety instrument systems.

• Specially designed for Trusted T8110B/T8111 main processors, expanding processor serial port resources and freeing up communication load on the main CPU.
• Equipped with 3 configurable RS422/RS485 serial interfaces, supporting two-wire/four wire wiring methods, and adaptable to various serial communication wiring schemes.
• Native support for Modbus slave protocol, capable of transmitting SOE event timing data, facilitating accident tracing and alarm record uploading.
• Provide hard contact output for the status of the main and backup processors, which can be directly connected to external alarm circuits to monitor the real-time operation status of the main CPU/backup CPU.
• The module supports hot swapping, and online maintenance and replacement will not interrupt the protection logic operation of the Trusted security system.
• Built in interface hardware self diagnosis, real-time monitoring of communication link faults, and intuitive display of operation and fault status on the panel LED indicator lights.
• Installed at the rear of the controller chassis, it does not need to occupy the front I/O slot of the chassis and does not affect the expansion space of the DI/DO/AI module.
• Fully compatible with TMR triple redundancy architecture, meeting SIL3 functional safety standards, and the communication interface has fault tolerance capability.
