SAM SAM401 is a remote I/O RTU module for ships, which belongs to the on-site acquisition unit of ship automation monitoring systems. The SAM401 module collects 4-20mA analog signals such as pressure, liquid level, and temperature on board the ship, as well as switch signals, and completes signal conversion and preprocessing; Upload on-site data to the ship monitoring system via Ethernet, while receiving instructions from the upper system to output control signals, achieving remote monitoring of valves and pump units. Capable of maritime certification and adapting to harsh environments such as humidity, vibration, and salt spray in the cabin.

Product features

1. Reinforced hardware design for ships, with an IP66 protective shell to withstand salt spray, condensation, and dust environments in the cabin. It is suitable for direct installation on decks, engine rooms, and other locations without the need for additional control cabinets.
2. 16 analog acquisition channels, supporting 4~20mA and 0~10V signal types, with high accuracy, used for various types of marine transmitter acquisition.
3. Integrate 8 digital inputs and 8 digital outputs, while collecting device status feedback and outputting pump valve control commands, integrating analog and digital signal acquisition.
4. Equipped with 100Mbps Ethernet and native support for Modbus TCP, it can directly connect to the ship monitoring network or achieve Modbus RTU communication through a serial port.
5. On site and system side electrical isolation is used to suppress surges and common mode interference caused by large motors and high-power equipment on board, ensuring stable communication.
6. Full channel fault self diagnosis, capable of detecting wire breakage, short circuit, and signal overload. The fault information is uploaded to the upper monitoring system for easy troubleshooting by crew members.
7. Wide range 24V DC power supply, stable operation even in voltage fluctuation scenarios of ship power grid.
8. Possess certification from mainstream classification societies such as DNV and ABS, meeting the requirements of maritime regulations for ocean going vessels.
9. DIN rail installation, easy disassembly and assembly, independent modular design, single module failure will not affect the entire bus network.
