ABB TPM810 TP800 turbine protection module
ABB TPM810 belongs to the Turbine Protection Module of TP800 turbine protection system, which is a specialized safety module for ABB 800 series turbines. It is equipped with TBU810 terminal base and can work together with VP800 valve position control units (CPM810, VPM810). It can be connected to 800xA and Symphony Plus DCS systems.
TPM810 independently monitors key shutdown protection parameters such as turbine overspeed, shaft vibration, axial displacement, differential expansion, temperature, etc. It has built-in independent trip logic and does not rely on the upper level DEH controller; When a dangerous working condition is detected, a hard contact trip signal is output to drive the shut-off solenoid valve, achieving emergency shutdown of the steam turbine, while uploading protection alarms, event records, and trip traceability information. TPM810 is the core safety board of the steam turbine safety protection circuit.
