FV223-M2 is a diode fault detection module for Alstom GECOSTAT excitation system, used for monitoring the status of synchronous generator excitation rectifier bridge.

Main function:

1. Real time monitoring of the power diode status of the excitation rectifier bridge, detecting diode open circuit and failure faults;
2. Identify single or multiple tube faults in the rectifier bridge, output fault alarm signals to the excitation main control and DCS system;
3. Onboard status indicator light, providing visual feedback on DIC diode, SIC diode faults, and power status;
4. Built in local testing circuit, supporting on-site module self checking, quickly verifying the integrity of module functions;
5. After the fault occurs, send out alarm contacts for unit alarm and interlocking prompts to avoid further damage to the rectifier bridge;
