3500/92-04-01-00 is a Modbus communication gateway module for Bently Nevada Bently 3500 TSI unit protection system, installed in a single slot on the 3500 rack. 04 represents the Ethernet+RS485 serial port combination interface model.
3500/92-04-01-00 is used to collect all monitoring data such as vibration, shaft displacement, differential expansion, speed, temperature, alarm, and trip status inside the rack. The data is uploaded to DCS, PLC, and SCADA systems through Modbus TCP (Ethernet) and Modbus RTU (RS485 serial port) protocols; 3500/92-04-01-00 supports Bentley proprietary protocols for rack online configuration, debugging, and data acquisition. It is the core interface for the 3500 system to interface with the mainstream Modbus bus of conventional industrial control systems. Different from the EGD protocol gateway of 3500/91, it is suitable for a large number of control systems that only support Modbus.

3. Compatible with Bentley proprietary protocols, the computer can be directly connected via Ethernet to configure, debug, and read real-time data of the 3500 rack online without the need for additional debugging cards.
4. Support hot swapping, replace modules without stopping the machine, and do not affect the operation of unit protection logic in the rack.
5. The backplane communication port is electrically isolated from the external network, effectively suppressing common mode interference and improving communication stability under complex electromagnetic conditions.
6. Onboard self diagnostic function, OK、 Communication, link, and fault indicator lights provide intuitive feedback on the operating status of the module, and fault information is uploaded to the rack diagnostic information.
7. Compliant with API670 Rotating Machinery Protection Specification, it is a standard communication card for TSI systems in thermal power and petrochemical units.
8.  Complementary to 3500/91 (EGD protocol gateway), specifically designed for control systems that only support Modbus protocol.
