KJ3243X1-BA1 is the second-generation Profibus DP communication interface card for Emerson’s DeltaV DCS system, with the component alias VE4014. It is installed in the DeltaV standard S2 rack slot as a protocol conversion interface between the DeltaV controller and the Profibus DP fieldbus, enabling data exchange between the DCS system and third-party Profibus DP slave devices. It is widely used in chemical, oil and gas, and power process factories, and is often used for project expansion, spare parts maintenance, and replacement.

Product function
1. Bus protocol conversion: Complete the conversion between DeltaV local bus and Profibus DP bus protocol, and connect the data link between DCS controller and Profibus DP field devices.
2. On site equipment data collection: Read the measurement points, status, and alarm information of Profibus DP slave station equipment, upload them to the DeltaV controller for system monitoring and interlocking calculations.
3. Issue control instructions: Receive DCS controller output instructions and issue them to third-party devices such as frequency converters, remote IO, flow meters, etc. under the Profibus DP bus to achieve device control.
