IS200WETCH1A (WETC) is an emergency trip safety board for the GE Vernova Speedtronic Mark VIe platform. It is a core component for turbine safety protection and is mainly used for hard circuit emergency trip protection of gas turbines, steam turbines, and large fan units.
IS200WETCH1A is independent of the main control controller and continuously receives system protection trigger signals and watchdog fault signals. It outputs trip commands through an independent hard contact circuit to drive the turbine trip solenoid valve and main steam valve trip mechanism; IS200WETCH1A can monitor its own relay circuit, coil, and contact feedback in real time, upload fault diagnosis information, and directly execute emergency shutdown when dangerous working conditions such as overspeed, shaft vibration, axial displacement, and controller watchdog failure occur. It is a turbine hard protection spare part that meets SIL3 safety level.
