Honeywell XFR824A Panel Bus 6-Channel Relay Output Module

XFR824A is a 6-channel relay output module for Honeywell Excel 800/EXCEL5000 building automation DDC system Panel Bus bus. Belonging to a pluggable distributed IO card, it needs to be matched with XS824-25 terminal base for use. XFR824A receives controller commands and outputs relay contact signals, widely used for start stop control of building equipment such as HVAC, chiller units, ventilation and smoke exhaust, water pumps and fans.

Product function

1. Output control of switch quantity relay: Receive DDC controller instructions and control the start and stop of on-site equipment such as fans, water pumps, electric air valves, chillers, etc. through 6-way SPDT relay contacts.
2. On site manual override operation: equipped with a manual switch, supporting three modes: automatic/off/on. During system debugging and maintenance, the equipment can be forcibly controlled on-site without the program.
3. Channel status feedback upload: The relay output status and manual override mode signal are transmitted back to the controller, and the upper monitoring screen displays the on-site working conditions in real time.
4. Fault safety mode configuration: In case of communication abnormalities, the output can be pre-set to hold, fully open, or fully closed to avoid the risk of equipment loss of control.
5. Control system point expansion: Mounted on the main controller through the Panel Bus bus, quickly expand switch output points and simplify control cabinet wiring.
6. Replacement of spare parts for old building automation systems: adapted to the original Excel 800 cabinet installation structure, used for replacing faulty modules and restoring the operation of building automation systems.
