ICS Triplex T8312-7C Trusted TMR Expansion Interface Adapter Unit

ICS Triplex T8312-7C is an expansion interface adapter unit for the Rockwell ICS Triplex Trusted TMR security system, used as a bridging communication unit between the mainframe and remote CS300 I/O subsystems.
T8312-7C is used to build a high-speed communication link between the Trusted main TMR controller and the CS300 remote I/O subsystem, serving as a bridge for protocol conversion and data forwarding; T8312-7C receives instructions issued by the main processor, forwards them to the remote CS300 I/O module, and simultaneously collects on-site signals from remote I/O and sends them back to the Trusted main CPU. Implement remote dispersed I/O measurement point deployment, expand the I/O capacity of the entire SIS safety instrument system, ensure reliable transmission of ESD and F&G interlocking signals, and meet the layout requirements of distributed safety measurement points in large factories.

1. As a dedicated bridge adapter between the Trusted host rack and CS300 remote I/O subsystem, it enables protocol conversion and high-speed data exchange between the two subsystems.
2. Based on Hotlink high-speed serial expansion bus, it ensures low latency transmission of safety signals and meets the requirements of SIS interlocking fast response.
3. Adopting TMR triple redundant fault-tolerant architecture, a single hardware failure will not interrupt the communication between the main system and remote CS300 I/O, meeting SIL3 functional safety standards.
4. Supports copper cable wiring, with a maximum communication distance of up to 30 meters, making it convenient for on-site remote I/O cabinets to be distributed and saving on long-distance cable costs.
5. The module supports hot swapping, online maintenance and replacement of modules, without interrupting the protection logic operation of the Trusted security system.
6.  The front panel is equipped with operation, fault, and link status indicator lights to quickly troubleshoot bus disconnections, communication interruptions, and module hardware failures.
7. Built in complete hardware self diagnosis, real-time monitoring of backplane power supply, internal circuits, and expansion bus link status, and timely reporting of faults to the main controller.
8. Native compatible with Trusted T8110 series main processors, it can be used in conjunction with T8310C expansion processors to flexibly expand the system’s measurement point scale.
