KOLLMORGEN S406AM-CA main station servo driver

S406AM-CA is a Master axis module of the Colmorgen SERVOSTAR 400 (S400) series master servo drive, which belongs to the classic modular multi axis servo system. It comes with a built-in power supply and brake feedback circuit, and can be used as the main power supply unit of the entire multi axis servo system.

Function:

1.  Drive one servo motor to achieve full digital servo control of current, speed, and position in three loops;
2. Provide a DC bus that can be extended in parallel with up to 7 slave axis servo modules, forming a maximum of 8-axis linkage motion system;
3. Built in braking circuit, absorbs motor braking feedback energy, and can be connected with external braking resistors;
4. Communicate with the upper PLC through CANopen bus to execute synchronous motion, electronic cam, positioning and other motion commands, achieving high-precision multi axis synchronous control.
