SERVOSTAR 406A-C is a shaft driven unit of the Kollmorgen SERVOSTAR 400 series. It needs to be used together with the SERVOSTAR 4xxM power supply main module. The driver receives instructions from the upper controller, collects feedback signals from the servo motor encoder, achieves closed-loop control of torque, speed, and position, and drives synchronous servo motors; SERVOSTAR 406A-C is equipped with encoder signal acquisition, motion control calculation, and fault protection functions. It can add EtherCAT/CANopen/SerCos bus interfaces through an expansion board for high-precision automation equipment motion control.

1. Modular architecture, 406A-C are pure axis modules that share the main power module for power supply. One power supply can drive multiple axis modules, saving control cabinet space and simplifying wiring.
2. Supports multiple encoder types such as EnDat, BiSS, and SinCos, with high-precision position feedback to meet high-precision positioning requirements.
3. Three control modes: torque, speed, position control, built-in notch filter to suppress mechanical resonance, and excellent dynamic performance in motion control.
4. Equipped with STO safety torque cut-off function, cutting off motor power output to ensure equipment and personnel safety.
5. Rich programmable digital and analog IO, can be directly connected to sensors, limit switches, solenoid valves, and supports custom logic.
6. The communication interface is expandable and can be selected from EtherCAT, CANopen, SerCos II high-speed fieldbus to adapt to different upper control systems.
7. Supports DIN rail installation, compact narrow body, built-in status digital tube and LED indicator light, convenient for debugging and fault diagnosis.
8. Improve protection functions: overcurrent, overvoltage, undervoltage, overheating, encoder disconnection, short circuit protection; The SERVOSTAR400 series has been discontinued and there are spare parts for equipment maintenance in stock.
