ILX69-PBM is a PROFIBUS DP V1 master communication module developed by ProSoft specifically for Allen Bradley CompactLogix (1769 series) PLCs. The ILX69-PBM can be directly inserted into the CompactLogix local rack as a PROFIBUS DP bus master, managing all DP slave devices on the bus, periodically transmitting and receiving process data, and supporting DPV1 non periodic parameter read and write, device diagnosis; By exchanging I/O image data through the backplane and Logix controller, Rockwell PLC seamlessly connects to the PROFIBUS fieldbus network, serving as a gateway communication card for Allen Bradley PLC to interface with Siemens DP instruments, frequency converters, and remote I/O.
