SycoTec TYPE 4061 is a high-speed electric spindle series launched by German company SycoTec (formerly KAVO), designed for high-precision and ultra high speed machining. It is widely used in dental denture processing, CNC machine tools, robots, and other precision machining scenarios that require axial runout within 5 µ m. The TYPE 4061 series offers a variety of motors and control modes (DC-S, DC-T, AC-CS-TC, HY), which can be flexibly selected based on power, speed, cooling method, and tool changing requirements.
High speed and high precision: up to 60000 rpm, axial runout ≤ 1.5 µ m, meeting the micro machining needs of dental zirconia, ceramics, and high hardness metals.
Automatic Tool Change (ATC): TYPE 4061 adopts an automatic tool change system driven by a pneumatic ejector pin, with a tool change time usually between 0.5 to 1 second, improving machining continuity.
Cooling scheme: all adopt external water cooling (internal spray cooling is optional) to effectively control the heat during high-speed operation and ensure the stability of power output.
Protection and sealing: IP54 protection level, suitable for humid environments; Seal the air pressure between 0.05 and 0.08 MPa to prevent chips from entering the interior of the spindle.
Compatible controller: It is recommended to use SycoTec’s own e @ syDrive 4638 or TV4538 frequency converter, which provides a wide frequency range of 0 to 8 kHz and supports multiple speed regulation modes (5 VCC, HSPWM, etc.).
