5466-257 is a Woodward MicroNet series simplex high-density discrete I/O module from the United States, compatible with MicroNet/MicroNet Plus digital control systems and Vertex-Pro chassis.

5466-257 is installed in the I/O slot of the MicroNet control system chassis, and communicates with the main control CPU through the backplane bus to collect 48 discrete input signals (such as switch status, relay contacts, proximity switches, pressure switches, etc. 24VDC level signals) on site. After photoelectric isolation and signal conditioning, they are transmitted to the main control CPU; 5466-257 simultaneously receives control instructions issued by the main control CPU, and drives on-site relays, contactors, indicator lights, solenoid valves, and other actuating components through 24 high side switch discrete outputs; 5466-257 supports Simplex and Redundancy system architectures and can be used for 8-slot and 14 slot MicroNet control chassis; The built-in rotary switch address setting and red fault LED status indication are key I/O units for switch signal acquisition and logic control output in the MicroNet turbine control system. When a fault occurs, it can cause the loss of corresponding channel discrete signals or output loss of control.
