8404-1004 is a Woodward L-Series integrated electronic actuator speed regulator, featuring a servo actuator and a built-in digital speed control motherboard. 8404-1004 is designed specifically for diesel and gas reciprocating generator sets, as well as engineering machinery engines. It integrates speed PID control with throttle driven actuators, without the need for additional external speed control plates, and directly drives fuel pumps/throttle rods. It is widely used in backup power generation and oilfield power units.

Core function

1. Engine closed-loop speed precise speed regulation
   The built-in microprocessor completes speed PID calculation, receives magnetic pulse sensor MPU speed signal, automatically adjusts throttle opening, stabilizes idle speed and rated speed, suppresses speed fluctuations caused by sudden load changes, and supports parallel unit load distribution.
2. Integrated throttle execution drive
   Integrated high torque servo motor output shaft, directly pulling the fuel adjustment mechanism, eliminating the need for separate actuators and external speed control boards, simplifying the wiring of the engine control cabinet.
3. Multi condition parameter programmable control
   Software can be used to set parameters such as idle speed, rated speed, acceleration ramp, fuel upper limit, soft loading, load rejection protection, idle/rated automatic switching, etc., to adapt to different power diesel/gas engines.
