1756-IT16 is a Rockwell ControlLogix platform 16 channel thermocouple temperature input module, belonging to high-density non isolated analog temperature acquisition card. The 1756-IT16 is directly installed in the 1756 ControlLogix rack and receives various types of thermocouple signals including B, C, E, J, K, N, R, S, and T. It has built-in cold junction compensation (requires the 1756-CJC cold junction compensation component) and converts thermocouple millivolt signals into temperature values to upload to the ControlLogix controller. 1756-IT16 is used to collect the temperature of various furnaces, pipelines, and equipment in industrial sites, realizing process temperature monitoring, over limit alarm, and closed-loop temperature control. It is the core I/O module for temperature collection in industrial DCS and PLC systems.

5.  Built in channel level fault diagnosis can detect thermocouple wire breakage and short circuit faults, and the fault information can be directly uploaded to the controller for alarm.
6.  The software can configure digital notch filters to suppress power frequency 50/60Hz electromagnetic interference and improve on-site measurement stability.
7.  Equipped with Studio5000 software configuration, it can directly read the engineering temperature value without the need for additional manual conversion.
8.  Standard ControlLogix single slot module, directly connected to 1756 rack, fully compatible with ControlLogix CPU and redundant systems
