Allen-Bradley 1797-PS2E2 Safety Explosion proof Power Module
The Allen-Bradley 1797-PS2E2 belongs to the FLEX Ex series of intrinsic safety explosion-proof power modules and is an explosion-proof power supply unit developed by Rockwell for hazardous areas. 1797-PS2E2 provides isolated power supply for the FLEX Ex intrinsic safety I/O system, limiting the energy of the input power supply on the safety side and isolating it electrically. It outputs four independent intrinsic safety power supplies to supply power to field instruments such as transmitters and valves in the explosion-proof area, preventing circuit faults from generating electrical sparks and igniting flammable and explosive media, ensuring the stable operation of the entire explosion-proof control system.
