1797-PS2N2 is a Rockwell Allen-Bradley FLEX Ex series intrinsic safety explosion-proof power module, belonging to the core power supply unit of FLEX Ex intrinsic safety I/O system. 1797-PS2N2 receives 24VDC DC input, built-in energy limiting circuit, and outputs 4 independent intrinsic safety power supplies, providing safe power supply for hazardous area FLEX Ex series I/O cards, on-site intrinsic safety transmitters, valves and other instruments. 1797-PS2N2 provides energy current limiting isolation for the input power supply in the safe area, limiting the maximum electrical energy sent to the explosion-proof hazardous area to prevent circuit sparks from igniting explosive media. At the same time, it provides stable power supply for the entire intrinsically safe I/O rack, ensuring the signal acquisition and output of the PLC control system in the explosion-proof area.
