E1667.211 is a SIL3 level speed safety monitoring module from BRAUN brand in Germany. - Speed acquisition and monitoring: Receive pulse signals from speed probes, measure the speed of rotating machinery in real time, and determine overspeed and underspeed conditions.
- Safe overspeed protection trip: When the speed exceeds the set threshold, a fault safety relay outputs a trip signal, triggering an emergency shutdown of the unit to prevent equipment damage caused by overspeed.
- Sensor fault diagnosis: Real time monitoring of broken wires, short circuits, and abnormal signals in the speed probe, and outputting alarm signals in case of faults.
- External tripping signal processing: Receive external interlocking signals and participate in unit safety logic.
- Data and status output: The local panel displays RPM values, and PROFIBUS bus can be selected to upload status, alarm, and speed data to the DCS control system.
