CC-PFB402 is a PROFIBUS DP fieldbus interface module (PBIM) for Honeywell’s Expert PKS C200 system, which belongs to the DCS bus communication card. CC-PFB402 serves as a bridge between the C200 controller and on-site PROFIBUS DP slave devices, responsible for bidirectional data exchange between the DCS main system and on-site intelligent instruments, frequency converters, remote IO and other PROFIBUS devices. The module collects measurement values, status, and diagnostic information of devices attached to the bus and uploads them to the C200 controller; Simultaneously outputting control instructions and set values issued by the controller to fieldbus devices, achieving distributed bus device integration, reducing a large amount of hard wiring, supporting equipment asset management and fault diagnosis, and serving as the core interface unit for DCS to connect to PROFIBUS field devices.

1. Following the standard PROFIBUS DP protocol, compatible with various brands of DP slave devices, including frequency converters, intelligent valve positioners, remote IO, and intelligent transmitters.
2. The fieldbus side is equipped with electrical isolation to block interference from the fieldbus from entering the DCS backplane, protecting the safety of the C200 controller system.
3. Supports rich baud rate selection, adapts to different bus lengths and field layouts, and can accommodate up to 125 slave devices per bus.
4. Built in bus diagnostic function, real-time monitoring of bus communication, online status of slave devices, fault codes, uploaded to the Expert system, supporting equipment asset management.
5. C200 rack hot swappable design, module online replacement, does not affect the operation of DCS controller and other IO circuits.
6. Modular rack installation, directly inserted into the C200 IO rack, backplane I/O Link for high-speed data exchange with the C200 controller.
7. Supports PROFIBUS V1, in addition to cyclic process data, supports non periodic parameter reading and writing, used for on-site instrument parameter configuration and calibration.
8. Industrial reinforced PCB with moisture-proof protective coating, suitable for chemical and power plant control cabinet dust and humid long-term operating environment.
