ProSoft 6104-WA-PDPM belongs to the ProLinx series wireless PROFIBUS DP master station gateway, which is a communication gateway device that integrates the PROFIBUS DP master station function with industrial radio stations. The 6104-WA-PDPM gateway serves as a Class 1 PROFIBUS DP master station, connected to on-site PROFIBUS slave devices (remote IO, frequency converter, instrument) via RS485 bus; On the other side, a 2.4GHz 802.11b wireless radio is used to establish a wireless link with the paired 6105-WA-PDPS (Wireless PROFIBUS Slave Gateway) or other ProLinx wireless modules, achieving wireless transparent transmission of PROFIBUS bus data. Without the need to lay long-distance cables, two physically isolated PROFIBUS network segments can be interconnected through wireless networks, supporting point-to-point and point to multipoint star topologies, suitable for PROFIBUS communication extension across mobile devices, rotating equipment, workshops, and buildings.

1. The PROFIBUS DP master station and wireless radio station are designed to be integrated, allowing a single device to simultaneously complete bus master station control and wireless data transmission without the need for an additional protocol conversion gateway.
2. 4GHz DSSS direct sequence spread spectrum wireless technology has strong resistance to electromagnetic interference in industrial environments, with a bit error rate better than 10 ⁻⁵, ensuring reliable transmission of control data.
3. Dual antenna automatic diversity reception, automatically selecting the best signal antenna in a factory environment with multiple occlusions and reflections, improving wireless link stability.
4.  ProSoft Wireless Protocol (PWP) supports unicast, broadcast, and multicast, enabling a pair of multi satellite networks where multiple slave gateways share the same master wireless link.
5. WEP 64/128 bit encryption prevents industrial wireless data from being illegally eavesdropped or tampered with, ensuring control network security.
6.  The PROFIBUS side supports full baud rate adaptation from 9.6k to 12M, with node addresses set in software from 0 to 125. It also supports standard and extended diagnostics, as well as Freeze/Sync functionality.
7.  2500V optocoupler isolation, complete electrical isolation between PROFIBUS side and wireless side, blocking ground loop interference, protecting PLC and on-site equipment.
8. Multiple sets of LED indicator lights on the front panel display power, module status, serial port transmission and reception, wireless link, and data transmission and reception status, respectively, for quick on-site fault location.
9.  ProSoft Configuration Builder software provides graphical configuration, supports importing existing configuration files, and reduces on-site debugging time.
10.  24V wide range DC power supply, DIN rail installation, compact size, suitable for installation inside control cabinets.
