Yokogawa SAI143-S33 S2 FIO Remote Analog Input Module

SAI143-S33 S2 is a FIO remote analog input module for Yokogawa ProSafe RS safety instrumented system in Japan. It is a 16 channel 4-20mA standard current acquisition card without HART communication and is compatible with KS1 dedicated cable interface scheme. SAI143-S33 S2 is used to collect on-site transmitter analog signals and upload them to safety controllers. It is widely used in safety circuits such as ESD emergency shutdown and fire and gas monitoring in industries such as petrochemicals, oil and gas, and power.

Product function
  • On site analog signal acquisition: Receive 4-20mA current signals from two-wire/four wire transmitters for pressure, temperature, flow rate, liquid level, etc., and convert analog signals into digital quantities that can be recognized by the system;
  • Upload safety circuit data: transmit process variables to the ProSafe-RS safety controller as the basis for judging interlocking, alarm, and emergency shutdown;
  • Signal isolation protection: module level electrical isolation, blocking on-site interference and surge entering the safety control system, protecting the rack and controller;
  • Flexible redundancy expansion: With the corresponding terminal board, single or double redundancy configuration can be achieved, improving the availability of the security system;
  • Transmitter power supply: The module can provide external power supply for the transmitter, supporting direct power supply for two-wire instruments and simplifying on-site wiring.
