FC-IOCHAS-0002R is a redundant I/O chassis (IO Chassis) for Honeywell Safety Manager Safety Instrumented System SIS, which is equipped with a backplane bus and serves as the carrier base for the entire set of safety system IO cards. The rack has a total of 21 slots, with slots 1-18 capable of installing up to 9 pairs of redundant I/O modules, 19 slots for blind boards, and slots 20 and 21 for IO expansion modules. The FC-IOCHAS-0002R rack integrates a high-speed safety backplane bus internally, which is responsible for providing power supply, data exchange between modules, and secure signal transmission for all inserted IO modules. It collects on-site input and output signals, exchanges data with the safety controller, supports safety interlock logic such as ESD emergency shutdown and BMS combustion management, provides a stable hardware carrier for the SIS system, ensures redundant operation of safety IO circuits, and meets SIL3 safety level requirements.

5. Slot partition planning, reserving dedicated slots for expansion modules, supporting IO capacity expansion, and flexible system expansion.
6. The rack shell adopts anti-corrosion coating, which can withstand the humid and corrosive gas environment inside the industrial control cabinet.
7. The backplane is equipped with power distribution and line monitoring, real-time monitoring of slot module status and bus communication status, and uploading fault information to the safety controller.
8. Support module hot plugging, replace IO cards without stopping the machine, and do not affect the operation of the entire SIS safety interlock system
9. Mechanical structure reinforcement, resistant to vibration and impact, suitable for long-term continuous operation in industrial sites such as chemical and power plants.
