IOP371 original Metso DNA DCS system dedicated I/O bus expansion module. IOP371 serves as a bus relay expansion unit between the DCS local I/O rack and remote I/O stations, extending the transmission distance of controller backplane bus signals; IOP371 supports twisted pair or fiber optic media, expands the number of remote I/O rack nodes, enables bidirectional real-time data exchange between distributed I/O sites and main control systems, transmits on-site analog and digital signals as well as control instructions. IOP371 is the core hardware for large-scale distributed control systems to achieve remote I/O expansion.

1. Designed specifically for Valmet/Metso DNA DCS, it achieves long-distance extension of I/O bus, supports twisted pair and fiber optic transmission media, and adapts to different on-site wiring requirements.
2. Equipped with 2500Vrms electrical isolation, effectively suppressing common mode interference caused by long-distance transmission and protecting the main control rack from on-site surge impact.
3. Supports 1:1 redundant configuration of the bus, ensuring that a single module failure does not interrupt the communication of the entire DCS system, thereby improving the reliability of the system’s continuous operation.
4. Supports hot swapping, and modules can be replaced without shutting down the system, making it convenient for on-site maintenance.
5. The panel LED status indicator light intuitively displays bus operation, link faults, and power supply status, making it easy to quickly diagnose communication faults.
6. Modular rack installation, sharing the same rack with IOP series I/O cards, simple integration, no need for additional control cabinets.
7. Built in bus signal shaping and driving circuits ensure signal integrity during long-distance transmission and guarantee real-time process data.
