ICS Triplex T8403C TMR Triple Redundant Digital Input Module

T8403C is a 40 channel TMR triple redundant digital input module for ICS Triplex Trusted security system, belonging to the dedicated DI acquisition card for SIS safety instrumented system.

T8403C core function: Collect on-site 24V DC switch signal, including limit switch, pressure switch, liquid level switch, emergency stop button, fire and gas detector contact signal; Three independent circuits within the module collect data in parallel and perform 2oo3 voting, uploading the trusted switch status to the Trusted safety controller. T8403C is used for ESD emergency shutdown and F&G fire and gas detection interlock judgment. The module has a built-in SOE event sequence recording function, which accurately captures the time of event occurrence for accident tracing. It is the core I/O module for Trusted security systems to collect discrete safety signals on site.

Product features

1. Adopting TMR triple redundancy architecture, each channel is equipped with three independent acquisition circuits. Through 2oo3 voting logic, single point circuit failure will not cause signal acquisition failure, meeting SIL3 functional safety requirements.
2. High density 40 channel design, single module can access a large number of on-site switch signals, reducing rack slot occupancy and lowering control cabinet space and hardware investment costs.
3. Support channel level line monitoring, capable of separately enabling disconnection and short circuit detection functions, and real-time monitoring of the health status of on-site wiring circuits.
4. Equipped with 1ms high-precision SOE event sequence recording, it accurately records the timing of alarm and interlock actions, facilitating accident review and analysis.
5. The module supports hot swapping, and the entire Trusted security system protection function is not interrupted during online maintenance and module replacement, avoiding the risk of device shutdown.
6. There is a 1500V electrical isolation between the backplane and the channel, effectively suppressing on-site electromagnetic interference and ensuring stable and reliable safety signal acquisition.
7. The front panel is equipped with independent channel status indicator lights and module fault indicator lights, allowing for intuitive viewing of channel status during inspections and quick identification of fault locations.
8.  Native adaptation to Trusted series CPUs, communication modules, and terminal components, can be directly connected to Trusted racks, with simple configuration and debugging.
